What Is OEM Padel Racket Manufacturing?

OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturing) means a factory makes the product to your specifications — your brand name, your design, your logo. You own the brand. We handle the manufacturing.

For padel rackets, this means:

  • Your logo and graphics printed on the racket
  • Your choice of materials: fiberglass, 3K carbon, 12K carbon, 18K carbon, or 24K full carbon
  • Your shape and weight preferences: teardrop, diamond, or round; 350g–375g range
  • Your EVA foam density: soft foam (comfort), medium, or hard foam (power)

OEM Padel Racket Pricing (2025)

Here are our current factory prices. No guessing, no “ballpark figures.”

Material Sample (1–3 units) MOQ 50 units MOQ 100+ units Best For
Fiberglass $30/unit $23/unit $22/unit Entry-level, recreational
3K Carbon Fiber $45/unit $32/unit $31/unit Intermediate–advanced
12K Carbon Fiber $47/unit $37/unit $36/unit Advanced players
18K Carbon Fiber $50/unit $39/unit $38/unit Pro / competition
24K Full Carbon $55+/unit $41/unit $40/unit Professional/competition use

Prices include racket body, grip, EVA foam core, protective frame, basic custom printing. Overgrips, bags, and packaging quoted separately.

What Affects the Final Price?

  1. Graphic complexity: Simple 2-color designs cost less than full-frame UV printing
  2. Frame construction: Full carbon frame vs. hybrid edge-carbon frame
  3. Accessories: Overgrip, wrist strap, carry bag — all optional add-ons
  4. Order volume: Most competitive pricing unlocks at 200+ units per model

MOQ: Minimum Order Quantity

The minimum to start a production run depends on the factory and shape type:

  • Shared molds (standard shapes): MOQ 50 units — most common entry point for new brands
  • Custom molds (proprietary shapes): One-time tooling fee $600–$1,000 + MOQ 50 units. The mold is yours and reused for all future orders.
  • Tiered pricing: MOQ 50 unlocks mid-tier pricing; MOQ 100+ unlocks best unit price (see table above)
  • Samples: 1 unit minimum. We recommend 2–3 units to test specs across different colorways before committing to bulk

Brands like Nordicdots and Hirostar started with small orders before scaling to thousands of units annually. Tell us your target quantity and we’ll match you with the right factory.

Carbon Fiber: 3K vs 12K vs 18K vs 24K

The number refers to filaments per carbon fiber bundle. More filaments = denser weave = stiffer racket = better power transfer.

Grade Filaments/Bundle Feel Best For
3K 3,000 Slight flex, forgiving Beginner–intermediate players
12K 12,000 Balanced stiffness Intermediate–advanced players
18K 18,000 Stiff, responsive Advanced players
24K 24,000 Maximum stiffness Professional/competition use

For context: professional-grade rackets used by top touring players are typically 18K carbon. A well-made 12K racket already outperforms most fiberglass alternatives on the market — and costs noticeably less to produce at scale.

Real OEM Samples: What Our Clients Have Built

These are actual padel rackets manufactured at our Dongguan facility for international brands. All images are from real production runs — no renders or stock photos.

Case 1: GILI Sport — "MENO" Collection (Indonesia)

GILI is an Indonesian padel brand targeting the fast-growing Southeast Asian market. For their "MENO" collection, they wanted a distinctive teardrop silhouette in a forest green colorway — a design that would stand out on court and feel premium without the price tag of European brands.

We worked with their design team on the graphic placement and UV printing to make the contrasting cream lettering pop. The result: a racket that photographs well for e-commerce listings and holds up to real play.

  • Material: Fiberglass face + EVA foam core
  • Shape: Teardrop (balance between power and control)
  • Customization: Full UV print, custom hole pattern, branded edge tape

Case 2: Play Nation — Entry Series (UK)

Play Nation is a UK-based sports lifestyle brand expanding into padel. They needed a clean, recognizable racket that could be sold through club pro shops and online. The brief: "minimal, bold, British."

Their signature red/blue/grey tricolor logo is instantly recognizable. We produced the face in pure white fiberglass with a subtle texture finish, keeping the focus on the graphic design. The racket also includes their custom sleeve packaging.

  • Material: Fiberglass face, medium-density EVA foam
  • Shape: Round (beginner-friendly, forgiving sweet spot)
  • Customization: White base, full UV print, custom grip tape

Case 3: Serve & Disturb — Carbon Pro Series (UK)

Serve & Disturb is a UK padel brand with a personality — their tagline "Forget the spreadsheet & smash it" tells you everything you need to know. They sell to competitive recreational players who want performance rackets with graphic designs that don't look like every other black carbon bat on the market.

For this order, they requested two distinct designs in the same batch: a matte carbon weave racket for their "Pro" line, and a high-impact colorful graphic design for their "Street" line. Manufacturing both designs in one order optimized their cost per unit.

Serve & Disturb "Pro" — 12K carbon weave face, matte finish. The carbon texture IS the design.
Serve and Disturb colorful padel racket - bold yellow blue white abstract design
Serve & Disturb "Street" — same carbon construction, full UV custom graphic.
  • Market: UK (D2C, Instagram-driven community)
  • Material: 12K carbon fiber face + EVA foam core
  • Shape: Diamond (power-focused, advanced player)
  • Customization: Two graphic variants in one production run; matte and gloss finish options

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I start with fewer than 50 units?

Our minimum for bulk production is 50 units. For testing, we offer 1–3 unit samples. Some clients order samples in multiple colorways (e.g., 3 samples × 4 colorways) to test a fuller range before committing.

Do you manufacture padel bags as well?

Yes. Custom padel bags can be produced alongside your racket order. MOQ for bags is typically 100 units. Quoted separately.

What is the warranty policy?

We replace defective units within 6 months of shipment for manufacturing defects (delamination, core failure, grip adhesion). Normal wear and player damage is excluded.

Can we visit the factory?

Yes. Our facility is in Dongguan, China — a major manufacturing hub for sporting goods. Most clients visit during the sample approval stage. We welcome factory visits and can arrange local hotel and transportation.
